Written by an engineer with precisely no idea how to entertain or at least not any idea on how to attractively describe things for the lay person , it's also insufferably boring. It took me months to get through the dense writing! My advice--seek ye other sources for a handle on aerodynamics! The quintessential reference for mathematically inclined pilots.
I primarily used this book to study for an airline interview and did, "very well" on the knowledge portion of the test according to the interviewer. Jun 25, Jonny Oates rated it it was amazing. Anyone that wants a good deep understanding of aerodynamic principles this is a great book. I've read it twice.
